Year 5 Investigate!

On Monday 14^th September, Year 5 became crime scene investigators to solve the clues and work out why there were burnt feathers, wax and a range of other mysterious clues in our playground. 

Using the information that they gathered, they worked in groups to piece together the evidence and deduce what really happened.

We discovered that after Daedalus had hatched a cunning plan for him and his son to escape from King Minos, Icarus was not listening carefully. He had flown too close to the sun and the wax holding his wings together melted.

Unfortunately, he plummeted to his death!
