Year 4: News items
Date: 11th May 2021 @ 2:32pm
Our lunchtime ordering and payment system is changing after half term for all children.
The lunch menus are now attached to the payment process so there is no need to complete a separate weekly menu survey.
To pre order a meal for your child(ren) follow the steps below;
1) Go to the payments section of the app/website
2) For KS1 and Free School Meals select the Free School Meal option/ For KS2 select School Meal - you will be able to confirm child details.
3) Select the days you want to order a meal then follow to bottom of the next screen to choose your menu options for each day. Pease DO NOT select let school decide.
4) Once all of your selection have been made and added to the basket you can checkout. No payment is required for KS1 or Free School Meal however you do need to checkout and confirm selection.
5) For KS2 payment is made at the checkout.
6) You will receive email confirmation of your orders and payment receipt if applicable.
If you pre order a meal and it is not taken for any reason this credit balance is held in your spider account. Any credit balances from last term will be brought over for you to spend.
You must pre order a meal if you are not sending a packed lunch. For any children without a packed lunch or school meal ordered we will provide a sandwich option which will be billed to your spider account.
Thank you for your patience while we improve the food ordering and payment process. If you have any queries or feedback please contact the school office who will be more that happy to assist.

School Meal Policy from Monday 8th March 2021
Date: 5th Mar 2021 @ 2:07pm
When children return to school on Monday 8th March, they will continue to eat school meals in the classroom or staggered visits to the hall. If you want your child to have a school lunch, you should order on the Spider survey usually issued on Friday and make payment in advance at the same time (payment only for KS2 children). Options are available on Spider for a single lunch, a week’s lunches and there is now an option to cover all lunches from now until the end of Spring term.
All pupils in the Foundation Stage and Key stage 1 are entitled to receive Universal Infant Free School meals. Therefore payment information only relates to pupils in Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6) whose parents pay for school meals.
From Monday 8th March we will be adopting a two week debt policy for school meals - if you have arrears on your child’s lunch account amounting to £25.00 or more (which equates to two full weeks of school lunches), we will no longer be able to provide your child with a school meal and a packed lunch must be provided until the debt is cleared.
We will of course take individual circumstances into account, please contact the school office if you have any queries.
If you believe you may be eligible for Income Related Free School meals and have not yet applied please call Cheshire East on 0300 123 5012 option 1 to apply.
