This is great website to consolidate your knowledge of the required spellings. It would be useful to have the Year 5 spelling list in front of you to begin this task to see which words you need to learn. Click on the curriculum list for Year 5 and 6 and then choose the spelling rule you want to look at. From here, you can listen to the words, learn them and play games to help consolidate your knowledge of them.
Extension task-
Practise your spellings by writing them in compound and complex sentences. Explore 'word families' by adding prefixes and suffixes, e.g. believe > believable > unbelievable. Can you list synonyms and antonyms related to your words? Can you create a mnemonic to help you remember how to spell your words? E.g. Never Eat Chips Eat Salad Sandwiches And Remain Young.
